ABOUT THE ARTIST
A native of Florida, I have always been passionate about art. I graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Fine Art. After moving to Atlanta in 1994 I earned a degree with honors in Art Education, from Kennesaw State University.
I am an Artist and Art Instructor, a member of the Southeastern Pastel Society, the Roswell Fine Arts Alliance, and the Atlanta Artist Center. I am currently displaying my work and teaching in the Atlanta area.
My inspiration comes from a love of nature and plein-air painting. Rich colors, patterns of light and shadow, can be seen in both my pastel and oil paintings. I like to use movement and texture to guide the viewer through the painting.
